SmartWatchWeb™ the SLDAR tool:

• SmartWatchWeb (internationally patented) is a Web-based platform for recording, monitoring and managing any kind of valve, steam trap or pipeline accessories. It is the key to true "best practice" to implement SLDAR (Smart Leak Detection & Repair).

SmartWatch International Prizes:

• Our Company get a new Gold Medal during the 33º International Exhibition of Inventions of New Techniques and Products of Geneva (Swizterland) (Suiza) . 6 - 10 Abril 2005.

SmartWatch™ successfully ended its ATEX certification

This process implies the fulfilment of the following international norms:

• BiTherm gets international patents for SmartWatch & SteamWatch in the EEC, USA, and other countries.
• IP 65 protection level 
• Electromagnetic compatibility
• Intrinsic Safety EEx ia IIC T4 Tamb= -20 ºC + 80 ºC (Certificate of Conformity ATEX II 1G)

The IS certification fulfils the European Norms EN50014, EN50020 and EN50049, for electrical material in potentially hazardous atmospheres, allowing the installation of SmartWatch™ in Zone 0 (Division 0), in any kind of hazardous (hydrogen, acetylene, etc). The system was certified to be connected in a network, up to 255 devises.  

New products:

BiTherm™ launches to the market the following products,:

• Leaktector™ Mini. Very small portable ultrasound leak detector with special functions for inspection of steam traps (2004).
• SLeactector™ LT-1. Portable ultrasound leak detector with special functions for inspection of steam traps (2003).
• SmartWatch™ RF. Wireless continuous gas and steam leak detection system (2003).
• TrapHelp™ steam trap software. Tool software for maintenance and analize steam traps and steam installations compatible with SmartWatch technology and most common data base on the market.
• Thermodynamic steam traps series TB45 and TB45V, manufactured totally in stainless steel.
• Inverted bucket steam traps series 701 and 741, manufactured totally in stainless steel.

New applications:

Within the different applications of the SmartWatch™ system, the protection of turbines offers an interesting perpective not only in terms of protection but also of energy saving.

New connections and monobloc steam traps:

To the traditional types of connection Bitherm™ adds the connection BETWEEN FLANGES, where the steam trap (without flanges) is inserted between two flanges of the pipeline. The special design of the monobloc steam trap incorporates a case at each end where spyrometallic joints are set (graphite/stainless steel). A centering ring helps its installation between any type of flange.
